The thai tea is pretty good. I ordered it without boba, but you can get it with boba as well. This drink was your usual thai tea beverage. Black tea with milk served in a sealed cup. You stab a large straw into it to drink it. It was not very creamy, more on the watery tea side from the ice. I thought it was a nice complimentary drink to have with the hot pot dinner.
Hot Pot - All You Can Eat

The all you can eat hot pot dinner is a fantastic experience. At this hot Pot Restaurant in Chesapeake, each person can make their own separate pot. You select that you want hot pot and each person picks a soup base. There are about 10 options including vegetarian options. The soup base is a broth or soup. I ordered the butter beef base. It was listed as spicy but I didn’t find it to be spicy. Also, they have a sauce bar, similar to a salad bar, but it has many sauces that you can combine into your own personal dipping sauce. Optional sauce recipe ideas are available above the sauce bar. Additionally, The sauce bar offers customers a selection of fresh fruit.
Next, you order ingredients to cook in your hot pot. The menu has pages and pages with a wide variety of ingredients included in the all you can eat meal. There are meats, seafood, veggies, dumplings, tofu, etc. Moreover, they have some common American options, such as beef brisket and broccoli, as well interesting, more exotic options, such as tongue, fish balls, and pigs blood. I tried brisket, beef tongue, lamb, frog legs, quail eggs, pork dumplings, oyster mushrooms, shiitake mushrooms, bean sprouts, bok choy, lotus root, taro, and winter melon. Honestly, I enjoyed trying all of these ingredients and did not dislike any.
Though my least favorite was probably the winter melon, which was just rather bland. The beef tongue was quite good and savory, it is a bit chewy. Meanwhile, the frog legs reminded me of chicken but with a hint of seafood. I found the lotus root was surprisingly tasty, akin to water chestnuts, and the taro was a nice starchy savory ingredient. The quail eggs were hands down my favorite and I would highly recommend them. They were very cream and rich. It is really fantastic you can try as many different ingredients as you want, so they have something for everyone to enjoy.
Once you have your trays of ingredients you use tongs and ladles to cook whatever you want in your soup base. Then you can put your food in your bowl and add any sauce you want and enjoy. You can continue ordering more ingredients or soup base as much as you want. It is a very fun interactive experience to have hot pot with friends or family.

Surprise! It was my birthday on this visit. Our waitress surprised me with a complimentary birthday cheesecake slice, complete with a candle to blow out! This was a nice size cheesecake serving. The cheesecake was a very normal traditional style with a little chocolate syrup and whipped cream. I thought this dessert was a very tasty treat and a great surprise.

The service at Hot Pot 757 was fantastic. Our waitress was very kind and friendly. We had mentioned to her it was our first time going to a hot pot restaurant and she was happy to explain how everything worked to use and answer all of our questions. She was even nice enough to bring a custom made dipping sauce for us.
Also, after we mentioned it was birthday celebration earlier in the meal, she completely surprised us by bringing me a birthday cheesecake! It was so very kind and thoughtful of her. Additionally, she was very attentive, but not overly so, and they brought out our orders quickly. She really went above and beyond. I think she was the best server I have ever had!

Hot Pot 757 is a fairly large indoor, sit-down restaurant. It has some tables that can accommodate huge groups of 10 or so. The restaurant also has tables for four or six. I would guess there are about 40 tables. There is also a small bar available at the front.

Overall Atmosphere
Hot Pot 757 has a wonderful atmosphere. I would recommend getting a reservation if you plan to visit. Also, reservation process on OpenTable is simple and does not require a card to be put down. The restaurant is very clean and new. The tables are large and have the burners for the hot pots and Korean BBQ built into the table. There is plenty of space for many plates, cups, trays, and dishes. I would probably not recommend this to someone with small children because the burners could be dangerous. But for older kids/adults it is easy to avoid the burners and a very interesting experience.
It is nice and classy but also casual so it would be great for a wide variety of events and get togethers. The tables are nicely spaced and separated, but it is also very joyful with all of the smells, sites, and sounds of customers cooking their food and chatting. Hot Pot 757 is a very fun and interactive place to dine. I would recommend going as a group of at least two to get the most out of the experience. I’m sure you could dine there alone, but I don’t think it would be quite as enjoyable. The spectacular staff also add to the enjoyable experience.

The price of the all you can eat hot pot at Hot Pot 757 is very reasonable. I was blown away by the huge selection of ingredients including exotic ingredients available and the fact that it is all you can eat. They are also fresh and delicious and the atmosphere and service are great. Hot Pot 757 is a tremendous value for the price.

Overall, Hot Pot 757 is a fantastic restaurant I would recommend to anyone. They have an incredible value for there price. The food is great and they have something for everyone. It is a fun interactive experience with amazing staff and a great atmosphere. Try the quail eggs!
