This is a fun flavor frozen latte from their drink menu. It is a coffee based cold drink. The drink has just a hint of coffee and is very creamy. It does have a little cinnamon to it to give it the “Cinnamon Crunch” flavor. I found this drink was too sweet for me, but I’m sure many people would love it. It is essentially a dessert. Very pretty presentation with the whipped cream too!
London Fog

This is a hot tea-based drink. It is Earl Gray Tea, Milk, and Lavender. I though this was a very well-crafted London fog. The balance of milk tea and lavender was spot on. You could really taste the Earl Gray and lavender
Bacon, Egg, & Cheese Brioche

This breakfast sandwich was OK. It is just warmed up like sandwiches are at Starbucks. It is a simple bacon egg and cheese that’s not very flavorful. The sandwich would do the job if you need a quick breakfast but it’s not anything fancy.

Greenbean Coffee House has a wide selection of beverages and breakfast foods. It would be a great local alternative to Starbucks or other cafes in Altoona, PA. Also, they sell lunch/dinner foods later in the day as well, though I did not get the chance to try them. The breakfast sandwich I tried was alright but not that impressive. The hand-crafted drinks are definitely the star of the show. I really enjoyed trying their drink and was particularly impressed by the London Fog.

The service at Greenbean Coffee House is limited to ordering and receiving your items at the counter. However, I thought the staff were very friendly, efficient, and helpful. Additionally, they made my order accurately.

Greenbean Coffee House is HUGE for a coffeeshop. I would guess there were about 30 tables plus outdoor seating available as well. They also have a huge, very busy double drive thru.

Overall Atmosphere
Greenbean Coffee House is very large, spacious and new. You can tell it is very clean and has an open airy feeling. There is a fireplace in the main seating area. Also, they have a stunning mural by the side entry to the café. Additionally, there is an interesting assortment of comic books, lord of the rings, etc. in the décor. I also enjoyed their choice of somewhat indie music that added to the café atmosphere. I was a bit conflicted over the atmosphere, because I personally enjoy a cozy and eclectic atmosphere in a café. Greenbean is the opposite of cozy with how spacious it is. However, I think they fit the modern coffee shop aesthetic and overall would be a great place to go.

Greenbean Coffee House is located in downtown Altoona, PA. Because it is downtown there are a lot of one-way streets and tighter parking. There is some parking available behind them though. It is close to the action since it is downtown.
