What I Ordered
Rancher Bowl
$11.45
The rancher bowl is a southwest themed kale bowl. It includes several toppings such as chicken, beans, corn, rice, siracha, lime ranch, crunchy tortilla strips, and avocado. Also, they mix up the bowl thoroughly for you so all of the toppings and sauces are well distributed. This does make it look a bit less attractive but it is great for flavor. The overall serving size is also quite large. The flavor is mostly savor with a little kick form the siracha. Additionally, the textures are quite good with a variety of crunchy, firm, soft, and saucy elements. Overall, if you like southwest flavor combinations you would love this bowl.

Cranberry Cider
$2.95
They have several unique craft teas, sodas, and refreshers. The cranberry cider refresher is a light fruity drink that is only slightly sweet. Moreover, it is a bit watery and could use a bit stringer flavor but it was pleasant.

Overall Food
Farmside Kitchen offers a variety of salad and rice bowls. They offer a wide selection of greens, rice, proteins, vegetables, toppings, and sauces. There is a selection of suggested bowls to choose from or you can build your own. Also, you can also get a side of bread and craft beverages. It has similarities to the food at CAVA but with a wider variety of flavor profiles available and a focus on fresh, healthy, local ingredients.
Service
There is a pretty limited service experience. You just choose your bowl and toppings at the counter and then pay at the register where you take your food. The staff were professional and very efficient but not very friendly.

Overall Atmosphere
Farmside Kitchen is very clean and simple with a lot of wood and farmhouse style furniture. There is not very much décor, but a lot of windows with natural light. The restaurant is laid out similarly to a Chipotle where you order and pay at the counter when you enter. The drinks are self-service on the side and you can seat yourself. Additionally, you clear your own table and place the dishes at the designate area by the door. The atmosphere is very casual and friendly but clean and bright.
