What I Ordered
Peach Mimosa
$8
The peach mimosa was very fruity and tart. It was light on the alcohol. I thought it was a bright enjoyable drink with peach and citrus.
House Potatoes Side
free
The eggs benedict meals come with a side. The house potatoes were nicely cooked, very crispy. They did not have any unique seasoning though. Very normal, but pleasant.
Food Name
$18
The eggs benedict flight included three fun takes on eggs benedict: shrimp and grits, sausage gravy biscuit, and chicken and waffle benedicts.
-The shrimp and grits eggs benedict was my favorite of the three. It included shrimp in a Cajun sauce over a poached egg and a fried grits patty. This was delicious! The sauce was very flavorful and the components worked together well with savory and spice. The grits patty was also tasty and held together well.
-The biscuits and gravy eggs benedict consisted of sausage gravy poured over a poached egg on a biscuit. This was pretty good, but my least favorite of the three. I found the cheese biscuit a bit grainy, almost like a corn meal. My main complaint was that this poached egg was overcooked so it was not runny. I think it would have been much tastier with the egg runny.
-The chicken and waffles eggs benedict consisted of fried chicken, candied bacon, syrup, and a poached egg over a quarter of a waffle. I thought the chicken was delicious, moist with a crisp flavorful breading. The waffle was a bit dense and dry but the flavor was good. Also, the candied bacon was very good adding another nice crunchy, sweet, savory element

I really enjoyed the eggs benedict flight. Based on how delicious the shrimp and grits eggs benedict was I would recommend trying a shrimp and grits menu item.
