What I Ordered
Hacker Pschirr Munich Gold
This beer was an easy drinking lager. Not very hoppy but a little nutty tasting.
Pretzel Appetizer
$4/pretzel
You order a specific number of pretzels. The pretzels are pretty large and the dough is pleasant tasting but they are not buttered or seasoned. I think it would have been better with some butter and salt. Additionally, it was served with a basic yellow mustard. They would have been better with a nice coarse ground mustard.
Rouladen Beef Rolls
$14
This meal was composed of two beef rolls, red cabbage, and a potato dumpling. The beef rolls were a thin slice of beef wrapped around bacon, onion, mustard, and a pickle with a skewer to hold it together. The beef rolls were smothered in a beef gravy. I honestly did not find these particularly appealing. The outer beef was dry yet the bacon was practically raw. They did not seem to be cooked properly. I picked around the bacon. The gravy was very good though. Additionally, the red cabbage was good. It was very sweet and pleasant. Also, the potato dumpling was very interesting. It was about the size of a golf ball and a fascinating gummy almost mochi like texture. The flavor was akin to unseasoned mashed potatoes.
Overall Food
Overall, the food at Prost German Restaurant did not impress me. They do have a wide selection of international beers and German cuisine. However, the items I tried were not cooked or seasoned very well. I did enjoy the beer I tried, but I would not recommend the beef rolls. Additionally, I would suggest getting the cheese sauce for the pretzel instead of the mustard.
Service
The service was good. The waiter was very nice and friendly. The servers were dressed in lederhosen which was a fun element with the German theme. Also, he was happy to offer recommendations. I liked his beer recommendation but not so much the food recommendation.

Overall Atmosphere
The atmosphere in Prost German Restaurant is an airy, lively festhaus style dining room. It is a large open room with large wooden tables. The dining room is brightly lit and decorated with a random assortment of items. For example, there were cases of accordions, sections of Baltimore sports regalia, and military regalia. Overall, it is not very comfortable but it is very lively. It would be a good place for a large get together but not dates. There is also a gift shop at the front where you can purchase German goods.

Value for money
The serving sizes and price are fair at Prost German Restaurant. However, due to the quality, I would not call it a great value for your money. It may be a better value if you go the beers and pretzels route, since they were pretty good and affordable.
