The hot honey peperoni pizza is one of the signature pizza offerings. I thought it was an extremely well-crafted pie. The pizzas are made fresh to order in front of you. The hot honey pizza is comprised of a thick crust, marinara, mozzarella, feta, pepperoni, sweet peppers, jalapenos, basil, and a drizzle of honey. The different elements were perfectly portioned to compliment and balance on another. The combination of feta and mozzarella made a complex depth of flavor with tang and richness. The peppers add a nice heat and acidity to the pizza which is complimented nicely with the light sweet honey drizzle. The crust is fresh, crisp yet soft, and tastes very nice. I loved it! The 7” size is perfect for one person to enjoy.
Peppermint Bark Gelato

You can order a two-scoop cup of gelato as your side dish in the meal. I ordered the seasonal peppermint bark gelato. It had a lovely festive appearance of red and white swirls. The mint flavor was light and fresh. Additionally, the gelato is lightly sweet and creamy. Also, I noticed the chocolate chips are evenly distributed. I enjoyed the gelato and thought it was a good serving size.

I ordered iced tea as my beverage. Their iced tea was your usual iced black tea. It was not overly sweet and had a pleasant, light taste.

Overall, I really enjoyed my meal at Your Pie. They offer pizzas, pastas, salad, and gelato. Also, they offer an extremely affordable combo of a pizza/pasta, side gelato/salad, and a drink. The pizza and gelato were very fresh and delicious. The food was fantastic.
Service
The service at Your Pie was not very good during my visit. The staff make your pizza in front of you, cook it, run the cash register, then bring your food to your table. They were not very friendly. Additionally, when I first entered there was no one in line but no one came to greet me and take my order at all. I had to walk around and find someone. Once they got started, they worked fairly efficiently.

Your Pie has a very new, clean, modern storefront. It is similar in design to a chipotle with a counter they make your food in front of you at and then simple seating. There are several televisions and some Virginia Tech décor on the walls. Also, the bathroom is very clean and large. Your Pie is a pleasant place to have a quick meal.
Location
Your Pie is located in Blacksburg, VA across from Virginia Tech’s campus. They are across from the Virginia Tech Math Emporium. It is easy to access with the bus system but it would be a little inconvenient to walk to. Also, there is ample parking available. Additionally, it is close to many other shops, restaurants, and hotels.

I think Your Pie is a fantastic value for your money. The food is delicious and made fresh in front of you. The serving sizes are ideal. The “make it a meal” option is very affordable and the 7” personal pizzas are inexpensive. The setting is very clean and bright. Though the service lacked it did not really impact the experience. I would recommend eating at Your Pie for the great food and low prices.
